Public Invited to Speak at Oct. 14 Mayview State Hospital Land Reuse Task Force Meeting

Moon – The Mayview State Hospital Land Reuse Task Force will hold its next meeting Tuesday, October 14th at 7 p.m. in the Regional Conference Center of the Dietary Building at Mayview State Hospital.

Chaired by state Sen. John Pippy (R-37) and state Rep. Nick Kotik (D-45), the task force was created to examine the reuse of the South Fayette Township property.  The October 14 meeting will provide a forum for the public to voice an opinion on the reuse of the property.

Individuals who wish to testify at the meeting can register online at www.mayviewlandreusetaskforce.com under "Register to Testify," or call Briana Mihok at Senator Pippy's Moon Township office at 412-262-2260.  The task force respectfully requests that testifiers offer comments that directly relate to the mission of the task force, which is to formally recommend an appropriate future use for the Mayview property that would benefit the surrounding communities and the region as a whole.
